Gelateria Saveria : Bologna, Italy

We were actually on our way to Cinque Terre, but had a train connection in Bologna for a few hours, so we jumped out and grabbed a few sandwiches, one from Gelateria Saveria and one from Impero Bar a few doors down).

Gigliato (sp?)
Seemingly simple sandwich, but actually quite nicely done.  A relatively denser bread with salted/salty cured meat that melted in your mouth.   Yes it was simple, but the ingredients were quality and we enjoyed the heck out of this, especially given our spotty meals in Venice.
