Green banana Boomerang!

Sick of bananas that go poopie brown in a few days, I bought some bananas from the "Green banana" section at the local international farmer's market, thinking it would buy me more time for them to ripen.

A week passes...

... and another week passes...

... and another...

...and still they remain stubbornly green.

Worse still, they were rock hard.

Now, what the heck do you do with these green bananas?   Are they to make banana chips or something?   Surely, there can't be that much demand for green banana boomerangs, can there?  Atlantans aren't *that* weird, right?  Right??
