Passing by the Muffin House

On our way to check out the High Line, we passed by the Muffin House, where Samuel Bath Thomas invented the Thomas English muffin.

There's nothing to look at besides the plaque, but it's kind of cool to read after the fact about the English muffin history (Did you know that Brits did not invent the English muffin — in fact, they had never heard of it until the 1990s?) and about the house.

Anyways, that's all I've got: just a few tidbits of trivia for when you're gathered around your breakfast table or the company toaster.
