Pro at Cooking

Pro at Cooking is a spin-off of Pure Pwnage, a niche comedic internet series, aimed at video gamers. The Pro at Cooking series is a cooking show on some level, but like Pure Pwnage, it's main intent is comedic entertainment.

And while I love the Food Network, Chowhound, egullet, etc. etc. and all of the seriousness that foodies put into those channels, I think the Pro at Cooking series is a fresh, if somewhat niche and immature, perspective on the whole foodie/cooking phenomenon. How's that for damning praise?

I can't emphasize that this is going for a niche audience. A good test for whether you might belong to the show's target segment would be your reaction to the first line of the first episode: "Today, we're going to be making seafood stir-fry and if you don't like it, you can go to hell."

This series is NSFW if you couldn't already tell.

One more note and I'll shut up. The female characters are not treated well in this series and are played off as humor. I'm not saying it's right, but just remember, this was born off of a show that targeted the mostly male dominated video gamer audience, so there's going to be an overlap in audience.

Whew. Here ya go:
